A Celebration of Speed, Strength & Sporting Excellence

The Mettupalayam Zone Level Athletic Competition 2026, organised by the Department of Tamil Nadu School Education on 31st August and 1st September, witnessed an outstanding display of determination and athletic prowess. Our young athletes delivered a phenomenal performance, bringing home an impressive 44 medals — 21 Gold, 14 Silver and 9 Bronze! From thrilling sprints and relays to high jump, triple jump, javelin, discus and endurance events, our athletes showcased remarkable skill, discipline and an unwavering competitive spirit across the Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 categories.
